TMS #429

Oh, now I had fun creating using this weeks Tuesday Morning Sketch.  I have been using so many dark fall colors and Christmas palettes, that I was ready for something bright and cheerful!

I started with a white card base, then added designer papers from American Craft's Hip Hip Hooray collection.  My little pinwheel die was cut and turned over to look like flowers.  I added a delicate scalloped border to my strip.  The corner is a Crafter's Companion Die-sire die which I trimmed to fit.  My flower centers are brads and a few little sequins were added for a touch of sparkle.

This came together with little struggles, and I am pleased.  Hope you are having a good Hump Day!  I appreciate the visit!

Simple Pleasures

I have not posted for a bit.  Life is a bit crazy, and today my hubby turns 65!  He is still not quite sure how he feels about that.

Today I have a card I created using a little of this and that.  I would like to take this over to Simon Says Stamp Wednesday Challenge called Snow White.  Here is a list of what was used.  Starting out with a white card base, I added a layer of Bo Bunny designer paper from their Altitude Collection.  The came a stitched rectangle from Lil Inker.  I sponged it with Distress Oxide ink.  Next was a stitched hillside slope from Lawn Fawn, as well as a stitched snowflake, also from LF.  My sweet little skiing penguin, sentiment and background snowflakes are all from a stamp set by Sunny Studio Stamps called Snow Kissed.  They have some real cute sets!  Things were topped off with a bit of diamond Stickles for sparkle, and a few dabs of glossy accents.

We have finally had a cold snap, here in PA.  The leaves are dropping and it can not figure out what the daytime temp is suppose to be.  My little dog Della, has resorted to sweaters and coats to go walkies.  Brrr!  Glad you stopped by!

Cute Piggy!

Happy hump day.  I am hoping for this to be my last work day of the week.  That gives me 4 days of play before it starts again.

Today I have a card for the Tuesday Morning Sketches Challenge # 427.  My card base is one of those pre-cut and scored cards that you can buy in a stack.  They really come in handy, and I find them at Tuesday Mornings.  My white embossed layer was created with one of my oldest Cuttlebug folders.  The cute stamps and sentiment were stamped at a get together and I am sorry I forgot to write down the company.  The designer papers are from a 6x6 pad called Spring, by American Crafts.  I used stack of dies that are scallop and straight to cut my image.  Coloring is with Copics and sequins and Glossy Accents were added to embellish.  That sweet flower trim is a Paper Frill from Doodlebug!

I see that we were gifted with the return of our Followers List... that was so nice of them!  I appreciate all of you.
