Red, White, and Blue!

I sure hope I am getting this posted in time!  Had a visitors this weekend, and just got a minute to create.  Unity is having a little R,W,&B challenge over on FB, and since I missed posting for Friends with Flair this week, I did not want to miss this also.   My card uses the April 2013 KOM from Unity, called "You Make My Heart Puffy".  I just love this little panda stamp and great geometric border!  I decided to make it a special dad card.

My designer paper is from Little Yellow Bicycle.  The inks are Midnight Muse and Real Red, from SU!.  I used a piece of Herringbone twill as a banner, and that was a gift from Unity.  For embellies, I used a Dew Drop, and sequins.

I hope everyone had a safe 4th of July celebration!  Friday was fairly quiet, but we had a wonderful cookout on Saturday.  Can you guess who came to visit?  I would like to share a little patriotic photo, of my dear grandson, Brian!  I could just eat him up!  He was so much fun, and we expect hands free walking any day.

I got the final word from my hand specialist on Thursday, and I was told that my Tunnel business is severe, which is not what the nerve Dr. told me.  I will be having surgery in the fall, before it gets any worse.  Until then, I will post as often as I can.

Happy belated July 4th! Sorry, I must have missed this post while I was furiously playing along with the OWH VCMP! That really is a cute panda image, and I love the twill accent too! The pic of that adorable little man is just precious with the American flag in the photo! I've got to come help you get these wonderful photos documented in memory books before your surgery! Have a great week ahead and stay cool!
